After breaking off an engagement and ending a toxic relationship full of fear, anger, fighting, and tension, I decided to go back to school and become a marriage family therapist.
Through my own therapy and through my official training in school I uncovered how to communicate in what felt like a new language.
For the first time in my life, I was able to truly connect with others and ask for what I need, clarify misunderstandings easily, and communicate in a healthier way.
Since then, through my clinical practice, I’ve seen what makes couples successful in resolving conflict, and building healthy, connected relationships.
I’ve also seen how some couples fail.
I wanted to simplify everything so I could give people the practical answers they’re looking for.
